ASHLEY TURBEVILLE, PH.D.
Licensed Psychologist
“Between the stimulus and response, there is a space. And in that space lies our freedom and power to choose our responses. In our response lies our growth and our freedom”
-Viktor Frankl, 1946
Hello and welcome to Trailhead Psychology! I am Dr. Ashley Turbeville and I am a licensed psychologist devoted to working with children, teens, parents, and pregnant and postpartum moms.
While I see clients and families for a range of needs, I specialize in treating anxiety and OCD. My work often includes direct support for parents, including Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE).
I also specialize in working with young children and their families. This includes providing attachment-focused parent coaching called Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to families with young children experiencing behavioral difficulties and emotional dysregulation.
As a mother of two young children, I have experienced both the joys of parenting and the challenges that come as well. My goal is to help foster resilience, strengthen parent-child bonds, and to provide a supportive space for families to heal and grow.
I believe that even in the most difficult of situations, people can have resilience and thrive if given the necessary support and resources.
Finding a psychologist who is a good fit is essential to the success of therapy and I welcome you to browse my website to learn more about me and my approach. Whether starting a new journey or taking a different path, I am here to walk with you.
